| I started my daycare business in 1994 as a single parent of 2 children, Luke and Carrie. Four years later, I met Will. After we married, I gained 4 step children, Nikki & Brett, who were already on their own, and Mandy & Willie. In 2001, Noah was born. Mandy, 25, Luke, 24 , and Willie, 22, are now on their own. Mandy has a son of her own now. Rogan is 22 months old. Luke is now married and has his first child, Luna, who is 13 months old. He is now Guitar Center's warehouse manager. Carrie, age 19, is now living in Iowa City and attending Kirkwood College. She is currently employed at Flash! Digital Photography in Coral Ridge Mall. She plans to make photography her career. Noah is now 8 , he already has his own array of instruments; 3 guitars, one acoustic, 2 electrics, and of course, a set of bongos! He is also a student of Denise's Dance Studio, taking tap, jazz and hip hop classes. As you may have guessed, music plays a big part in our family, and our daycare kids are often exposed to it! |
